I'm the weirdo that revels in the aloneness, purposely creating it. The introvert in me uses this quiet time to recharge. For a time, I was made to feel that there was something wrong with me for preferring to spend the actual holiday alone. There's liberation to it. Would love to exchange cards with you, Matt. I might be introverted to the point of being accused of anti-social tendencies, but I'm not a Grinch! LOL. xo

That's such a kind idea. Great post as usual too. I used to take 911 calls, and the number of calls from people who'd lost all hope went up significantly around this time of year. Lonely for the holidays is a very real and widespread thing.
